Artpark launches summer concert schedule with new website

LEWISTON, NY, May 12, 2008 - Artpark recently launched its new summer concert schedule, featuring acts such as Kansas, Michael McDonald and moe. Like previous years, it's a stellar lineup. Unlike previous years, Artpark has a new tool to spread the word: a completely redesigned website.  

The new site features a fresh look, one that brings a bright, modern feel to the venue while capturing the outdoor atmosphere of Artpark. 

"It's quite colorful and upbeat, which is obviously necessary when marketing an outdoor, summer venue," said Michael Freedman, Public Relations Coordinator for Artpark. "The new site allows us to make updates and changes with only a few clicks, all while engaging both the Western New York community and beautifully promoting our shows, concerts and other events."

Artpark's site was designed to reflect the beauty of the Niagara Gorge, where Artpark is located, and the festivities and spirit of the summertime focus of their events.

The site was designed by 360 PSG, an Amherst, NY- based web development firm. The team of professional designers incorporated custom imagery, graphical elements, and a Flash slideshow presentation for Artpark, giving their site a complete, dynamic look.

The site was also built on 360 PSG's Fission Content Management System, meaning Artpark staff can easily update their event calendar, edit their site content, and add photos and many other media elements quickly and easily. Artpark's Summer Concert Schedule features two main free events: the First Niagara Tuesdays in the Park and Wednesdays on the Gorge. Both series feature both local and national musical and visual artists, as well as family-friendly events including hands-on art workshops for children.  Artpark's Tuesday concert series starts June 3 with rocker Bret Michaels and runs through August 26 with classic rock artist War. The Wednesday series starts July 9 with jam-rockers moe. and runs through August 27 with blues artist Sass Jordan.
