360 PSG maintains its own business class datacenter in Amherst, NY. The facility is in a privately accessible unit within the secure Level 3 (L3) building on Ridge Lea Rd. This facility is locked by padlock and magnetic-stripe card access. 360 PSG manages and has access to your servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The facility is run separately from the 360 office space, but within walking distance of the corporate headquarters.
The facility has a non-liquid fire suppression system ensuring that no equipment damage occurs if a fire breaks out. A diesel generator with a 48-hour fuel capacity (constantly filled during outages) stands 2 stories tall and attaches directly to the building, maintaining uninterrupted power for servers and building security alike. Each server is connected to a battery backup that provides an uninterrupted power supply during the 30 second conversion from the main power grid to the generator kicking in. The facility and servers within remained accessible and fully active during an 8-hour power outage that blacked out much of Amherst in early 2006, then again for several consecutive days during the unusual October 2006 storm in the region. The facility temperature is controlled by a 30 sq. foot air cooling system. The temperature never exceeds or falls below the required optimal operational conditions for the equipment housed in the facility.
Currently, 360 PSG maintains a scalable space with several of their own full 42-unit racks, and can be expanded on relatively short notice. Each rack has its own mounted power supply systems and monitoring software, ensuring bandwidth, uptime, and network activity are logged and communicated.
360 PSG offers many different packages from our professional ‘managed hosting' service kits. These include shared bandwidth and server space on one of the many custom built application servers. Both Windows and Linux environments insure that any hosting need is met. Also, several current clients utilize the co-location capabilities to mount their own dedicated servers, backup systems, and internal VPN servers. 360 PSG can be as transparent as necessary, or fully involved in server management as your outsourced network administrators.
Many small businesses are using the 360 PSG virtual server plans to act as data recovery disaster sites, business continuity servers and central storage repositories.
The bandwidth offered can be dedicated or shared. 360 can partition off as little as a quarter megabit/sec, dedicated to your websites or servers, and up to multiple DS3 (T3 45 Megabit/sec) lines to your rack(s) or servers.
