360 PSG - Amherst, NY
As a business that specializes in making their clients look and feel good, KaLu Salon & Spa is a specialist in luxury. The Amherst salon and day spa needed a way to convey the lush experience they offer their clients, so they sought out the web design experts at 360 PSG.

360 PSG worked with KaLu staff to design a rich, textured look that complements the feel of the KaLu salon itself, and with the services that KaLu is known for, from hair styling to hot stone massage.

Tammy Swanson, co-owner of KaLu, summed up the site's design in one word: "Perfect," she said. "It represents our atmosphere with a calm look and smooth feel when you move around the site. It is still trendy and we are really able to customize any time we want in order to get information out."

That customization is available because of the Fission Content Management System set up by 360 PSG. With their site built using the CMS, KaLu staff themselves - not a web designer - can make edits, updates and changes to their site quickly and easily.

"We learned the system pretty easily," Swanson said. "After a little practice we have been able to make changes fairly easily and with little stress. And whenever we have an issue, 360 PSG is right there to help us."

One of the features the KaLu Salon has been utilizing is the Event Calendaring feature of the Fission CMS. With it, KaLu staff are able to schedule and publicize events like their regular Martini Thursdays, a night where customers can enjoy a martini and a manicure for only $20.

"So far, customers love the look," Swanson said. "We are hoping they will utilize the site to answer many of the questions they usually call us for. It is very eye-catching and easy to read. They should love every visit."

The KaLu Salon & Spa website project is one of many 360 PSG produces for businesses. Visit KaLu's website to see their new design, or visit 360 PSG Web Development for more information on the project and how it was implemented.
