If you've ever had the desire to just take charge of your website and stop calling your local tech programmer, this may be a solution that fits.

360 PSG has announced the latest in their suite of web software products built on the "Fission Application Framework". The Fission CMS is now live and available for commercial, organizational, and non-profit website management.

Joel Colombo, managing partner, has spent the past seven years building a team and architecture that would be expandable and grow with the times.

"Keeping technology current and up-to-date is essential for today's organizations. A website or webtool can fall behind the times very quickly." he said. "What worked three years ago may not be the case today."

The Fission CMS product is a completely web-based tool for taking control of your own website, those with basic "Microsoft Word" skills can login and edit their own images, content, menus, and more. There is nothing to install, nothing to support, and no additional IT staff required.

"Some people still think that the mystery of all that 'code' is something they could not begin to be a part of; we take the mystery out of it." Colombo says. "The advances in broadband internet and user web familiarity have made for an environment where people who know how to surf the web, can just as easily manage it."

A local company, CMI Education, has done just that. With the growing need for their nursing, social worker, and pastoral clients wanting to register and pay for seminar attendance online, a solution was needed.

Kathy Brunner, program director, has been using the Fission CMS to manage all aspects of her educational and training seminar programs around the country. When the site launched, CMI coupled it with another 360 PSG product called Fission Conference Studio. The conference studio software allows her to add, edit and manage all the details related to the scheduled conferences and seminars. Visitors can instantly check availability and even pay for their seats online.

As the product is rolled out, the Fission CMS will grow with more features, additional services, and include seamless integration. Colombo says, "Our goal with this product is to offer our customers an affordable but still very powerful system that can grow as they do. We don't feel a website has to be an overly expensive piece of the business, but it does have to be a very important part of it."

360 PSG is located in Amherst, NY servicing customers with web software needs in the western New York area and at the national level.
